This ring is beautiful! Crisp hallmarks tell us this ring was assayed in Birmingham and hallmarked in 1970 - 1971. It is 9ct white gold and has a bezel set bright pinky red stone. Surrounding the central stone are little millegrain scrolls and x3 clear stones, likely to be of man-made origin.
