Here is a striking 10ct cocktail ring, circa 1940's / 1950's - known as 'Nop-pa-kao' or Thai Princess Harem ring. These rings were often bought back as souvenirs for the sweethearts of soldiers on tour in Thailand, post WW2. Typically modeled after the headpieces Thai dancers wore during traditional performances, featuring a cluster of gemstones that mimics the look of a crown.
